INNOMARITIME has been awarded with a new contract for supporting commissioning of four SUEZMAX oil-tankers built by NAVANTIA.

The vessels (new buildings 540; 541; 544 and 545) shall be built in NAVANTIA’s Puerto Real Shipyard (near Cádiz, Spain) for Spanish Owner “Grupo Ibaizabal”.

The project has been developed under a technological partnership with DSEC Korean Engineering office.

INNOMARITIME shall mobilize a team of nine experienced engineers to support Client’s commissioning team. This team shall be comprised of three chief engineers; two electrical engineers; two multi-disciplinary engineers; one engineer in charge of systems’ maintenance; and one engineer in charge of technical documentation.

Each engineer shall be directly responsible for managing mechanical completion; precommissioning; start-up; HAT trials and sea trials of different systems under his supervision.

The team will also support the vessels’ one year guarantee-period.
